Chicken Tacos Recipe (Tacos de Pollo)
Chicken tacos are always a crowd pleaser and easy to make too. Follow this recipe to get the best mexican chicken tacos you’ve ever had! Yields 12 tacos.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup cooked, shredded chicken
- 3 minced garlic cloves
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 small tomato, chopped
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 12 corn tortillas, steamed or fried
- 1 cup shredded cheese of your choice
- lettuce, salsa, and sour cream to top them off
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Cook garlic, onion, and tomato in hot oil until tender.
- In the same pan, stir in the chicken and add salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 1 minute.
- Fill shells with about 1/4 cup of mixture.
- Finish off by sprinkling with cheese and garnishing with lettuce, sour cream, and salsa.
