Delicious Grilled Steak Fajitas
This is an authentic grilled steak fajita recipe that’s easy to make and just as delicious. This recipe yields 6 servings.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound flank or round steak, cut into 1/4 inch strips
- 1 red bell pepper cut into strips
- 1 green bell pepper, cut into strips
- 1 onion, cut into rings
- 12 flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1/2 cup lime juice
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Salsa, sour cream, and guacamole to serve
Directions:
- In a bowl, combine vinegar, lime juice, cayenne, salt, and pepper. Marinate steak in this mixture for 20 minutes.
- Preheat grill to medium heat.
- Put just a coupe of drops of water on each tortilla and wrap them all together in tin foil.
- Place them on the grill, turning once during cooking time. Place the steak in a grill basket over high heat.
- Add onion and bell peppers to the grill and turn down the heat.
- Cook until vegetables soften and until steak is cooked to your liking.
- Remove steak and veggies from grill and fill each tortilla wrap with steak mixture, cheese and salsa and roll up.
- Serve with sour cream and guacamole.
